Pursue your Talent
- something you are born with or something you have developed |
Talent is perceived as something you are born with or not. You may or may not. It’s the shy ingredient in all the consequences we see around happening. It’s also the number one reason why you don’t face any challenges or why you fail. That’s how everyone noticed and that’s exactly how it is.
But if you start digging around you’ll start to find a lot of stories and know about talented people, which will foster a whole new perspective on talent: talent is really something you can develop and if where you need to. As long as you don’t pursue your goal consistently, all potential is abandoned. We all know that success is almost always the result of hard work.
My talent came when I was in the 8th grade. I’m not perfect at singing but I really like to sing. So I realized that even if I wasn’t good at singing, I could get better and practice so I could produce good results. When I’m alone I have nothing to do, I go to a place where no one will bother me, I open my cellphone menu and go to the YouTube app and I research the songs I want to sing. While singing, I feel mixed emotions that I enjoy while singing and there are also lyrics that make me cry. I understand and I really feel what the lyrics want to convey.
All I can say is this is really what I want. until I was in grade 9, when I went to school elections they choose me to lead and sing a song in front of them. I was embarrassed and scared. But I was able to, until I went to senior high and until now that I was in college, I continued even though I wasn't a perfect singer, but I just wanted it and I enjoyed it.
